Pinterest is my guilty pleasure … late at night, when I’m too exhausted to read any longer after a productive day, I pull up Pinterest on my Kindle Fire. Does it help me sleep? Well, no, but it’s FUN, FUN, FUN! Shamelessly, I have find myself ‘surfing’ boards at 2am and beyond…

I’m finding all sorts of interest things and it has inspired me when it comes to creating my own boards. As an author obviously books do come into it, but for me Pinterest is about sharing the other passions in my life too. I no longer work in Interior Design, and love spending my days now on writerly pursuits, but I miss it. Pinterest allows me to be indulgent and share things that inspire me design-wise, including things I’ve designed myself in the past.
My husband and I have almost finished renovating our cottage and I’m sharing all the little design details that might inspire someone else looking for ideas! Visit my ‘Living in a cottage in England’ board.
What I like about it most, is that you can ‘flit’ around when viewing other people’s boards, but also ‘flit’ between your own boards. My boards therefore reflect my various moods, some of which are:
