Every new writer has to go through a tremendous learning (and growing) curve. It often feels like an apprenticeship and mistakes will be made, lessons will be learnt. What has come as a real surprise to me is the wonderful way readers take you to their heart! People who follow and support you, cheering you on as each new book is launched. I’m celebrating today as the fabulous HarperImpulse have set up Forbidden and Forever on Amazon and so parts 2 and 3 of the Angels Among Us are now available for pre-order! A reader emailed me to ask if I knew all THREE were ‘up’ and did I know they were both in the UK charts?? It was a ‘whoop’ moment and sincere thanks to those who were so quick off the mark in placing an order! I did laugh though, can anyone spot the spelling mistake on the Amazon website?

Angels best sellers pre order

The next couple of months are going to be a busy time for me personally (we hope to be moving house) and also wearing my author’s hat (two promotions for the Angels Among Us series and a Winter Warmers promotion for The Restaurant @ The Mill).

However, I wanted to take a moment to stop, take a breath and just ‘count my blessings’. Every time someone downloads one of my books it’s one more reason to keep writing. Whenever (and often that’s at 3am when I’m typing away because my mind is too full of a story to sleep) I start to doubt whether I have what it takes to become a really successful writer, I look at the wonderful reviews readers and book bloggers have posted. YOU keep ME writing and without readers I would be doing something else … the problem is, I don’t quite know what! All I know is that I really appreciate having the luxury of being able to write and I am very aware that it’s only possible because of a very supportive husband, writing friends and fabulous readers!

Thank you balloons

Celebrating the good things in life…and sharing

Ceris journey angels 3D why meSaturday, July 6th over at LLm – Loveahappending Lifestyle magazine, as well as here, I will be formally launching Ceri’s journey: Angels, part one in this series of three novellas. Ceri’s story is a psychic romance about two people who fall in love, but are not destined to be together.

I want to celebrate the positive things in life – the times when someone has been there to pick us up at a time when we were in need. And I’m sprinkling that angel dust all around… after a shopping spree I chose some little gifts to mark this event and one lucky person will win their own ‘Willow Tree Angel‘. There are ten other momentos on offer to anyone joining in and commenting over the launch period (scroll down to see all 11 gifts) – which will end on Sunday July 14th.

Anyone who leaves a comment either on this page, over at the FB party HQ (see link below), or on the LLm official launch post up to midnight on Sunday July 14th, will have a chance of winnin.below. Alternative simply Tweet or RT using the hashtag:

#cerisangels

The names of everyone who posts a comment or using the hashtag in a Tweet, will be put into a hat. The winners will be drawn by three-year-old Bill…I figure he’s impartial and he’ll have some fun!
