The answer is simple. When I started writing ‘seriously’ (with the intention of getting published) that was where my spirit guide led me. I am not a psychic and I am not a medium, BUT I come from a family which has a strong psychic trait running through it. From a young age I was also fascinated by horoscopes and the incredible accuracy of some of the most famous astrologers.
My first book, Touched by the Light, was written shortly after the death of my dear mother. When she died it was a release and she chose to slip away during the early hours of the morning in hospital, when she knew we were all safely at home. That was her choice, there was no way my mother was going to step into the next world with the ones she loved witnessing those last difficult moments. But whilst at home that night I had an experience that left me with no doubt whatsoever that in those final moments she connected with me. It had a life changing effect on me and I decided to sit down and write a journal about all of the psychic connections I had experienced in my life up to that point. I was shocked to realise that it had actually started when I was quite young. For me it’s very much about ‘seeing is believing’ and because it is now a part of my daily life, it is only natural that it should feature in my novels.
However, I never intended writing my ‘true’ story, but fate had other plans …. and Being A Sceptic Is Oh So Easy is an account of my journey from a bewildered sceptic, to becoming a believer in the existence of life after death. I also talk about coincidences, deja vu and luck – my thoughts might surprise you a little.
