It’s time to announce the winners in the Falling (Angels Among Us #1) launch competition!
There were 3 prizes, but because of the number of entries received there are now 5 winners! I was so thrilled at the response and would like to thank everyone who took the time to enter. If you didn’t win I will be announcing a new competition to celebrate the launch of Forbidden (Angels Among Us #2) very soon!
1st Prize – Emma P (ecopies of the complete series)
2nd Prize – Ana (goody bag)
3rd Prize – All B (goody bag)
4th Prize – Kat (ecopy of Falling)
4th Prize – Toni (ecopy of Falling)
I will be contacting the winners today!
Every new writer has to go through a tremendous learning (and growing) curve. It often feels like an apprenticeship and mistakes will be made, lessons will be learnt. What has come as a real surprise to me is the wonderful way readers take you to their heart! People who follow and support you, cheering you on as each new book is launched. I’m celebrating today as the fabulous HarperImpulse have set up Forbidden and Forever on Amazon and so parts 2 and 3 of the Angels Among Us are now available for pre-order! A reader emailed me to ask if I knew all THREE were ‘up’ and did I know they were both in the UK charts?? It was a ‘whoop’ moment and sincere thanks to those who were so quick off the mark in placing an order! I did laugh though, can anyone spot the spelling mistake on the Amazon website?

The next couple of months are going to be a busy time for me personally (we hope to be moving house) and also wearing my author’s hat (two promotions for the Angels Among Us series and a Winter Warmers promotion for The Restaurant @ The Mill).
However, I wanted to take a moment to stop, take a breath and just ‘count my blessings’. Every time someone downloads one of my books it’s one more reason to keep writing. Whenever (and often that’s at 3am when I’m typing away because my mind is too full of a story to sleep) I start to doubt whether I have what it takes to become a really successful writer, I look at the wonderful reviews readers and book bloggers have posted. YOU keep ME writing and without readers I would be doing something else … the problem is, I don’t quite know what! All I know is that I really appreciate having the luxury of being able to write and I am very aware that it’s only possible because of a very supportive husband, writing friends and fabulous readers!
