I’ve always wanted to concoct a spell – guess that’s one more off the ‘bucket list’ as I’m casting one today in honour of the lovely Janice’s Spellbindingly Fun Blog Party! Here’s your personal invitation –

So here it is!

“With silver spoon held high to lift
The thistledown gathered at crack of dawn
Stolen softly, nature’s precious gift
And onto parchment paper, now being drawn.
With lock of hair, the merest curl
And the single rose, is just a pawn
To showcase stardust, like a pearl
Casting light upon the morn!”

The more who see this simple spell, the greater the power to be held – so concentrate and help me please, my spell is for A DAY OF EASE!

And what would my peaceful day consist of, I can hear you thinking … yes, the spell gives me that power whilst I’m casting it.

Well:

Breakfast in bed

Someone else to load my Twitter spreadsheets and do my admin chores

A car to pick me up and take me to a spa retreat

A full-body mud wrap

A facial

An aromatherapy body massage

A healthy lunch (with a naughty glass of wine), strawberries & chocolate

A wonderful wash and blow dry, plus make up of course

A new outfit to travel home in!

Ah… I can but dream, but thanks to the lovely Janice Horton my five minute ‘escape’ has given me renewed energy. If I can’t have my perfect day I’ll just pop on the kettle, make a strong cup of coffee and get on with my work!
